I loved working with customers and strengthening my communication skills. Also, Gap Brand gives a glorious discount to its stores. I also enjoyed working with my fellow employees and managers.

Sales Associate
June - August 2019 • Tulare, CA
What I liked
It was very straight forward and they offered a good employee discount.
What I wish was different
It was very repetitive and there was a lack of family feel among employees. Most didn't bother tolerant the seasonal associate's names. Also I was scheduled very few hours.
Advice
Don't work here if you want to have a lot of hours. However, if you're taking summer classes, it could probably work for you.

What I wish was different
I wish our job had more purpose and meaning.
Advice
Retail is a good high school student job, or just a little something to keep you busy, but when you're seeking a real job or occupation, you don't really gain that many new skills or gain much experience. It's all very simple and often frivolous work.
